Roberto Levi, MD

Dr. Roberto E. Levi is the Director and founder of Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers. He has been practicing orthopaedic surgery in Chicago for over 30 years. Dr. Levi completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 1977 at the prestigious Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Prior to his residency at Michael Reese, Dr. Roberto Levi had completed his residency and two fellowships in his city of origin Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a resident, Dr. Levi trained under internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeons at the Jewish Hospital in Buenos Aires. Dr. Levi then went on to complete his fellowship training in hand surgery and occupational orthopaedics.

Dr. Roberto E. Levi is a board certified orthpaedic surgeon with over forty years of experience in orthopaedic surgery. His experience includes all aspects of orthopaedics but he has particular expertise in orthopaedic trauma, hand surgery, shoulder and elbow surgery, cartilage injury and repair, as well as joint replacement surgery. Dr. Levi has performed thousands of joint replacements and arthroscopic procedures in his long career. He has been caring for trauma patients at level-one trauma centers for his entire career. Dr. Levi’s vast experience allows him to use the most current technology and utilize minimally invasive techniques in his practice.

Dr. Roberto E Levi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has published several papers in medical journals and orthopaedic society journals. Dr. Levi has invested much of his time and effort working with the Hispanic community. When describing his practice he sates, 'Patient care is my most important concern. I always put my patients' interests first.'

Under the direction of Dr. Roberto E. Levi, Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers, provides state-of-the-art orthopaedic care with a fully staffed physical therapy department, a radiology department, as well as osteoporosis screening. Dr. Levi and his staff manage all orthopaedic problems from arthritis, sports related injuries, and work related injuries. Dr. Levi is fluent in Spanish and English. He also speaks French and Italian.
