Roberto E. Levi, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic trauma, hand, shoulder, and elbow surgery, cartilage injury and repair, and joint replacement surgery. Dr. Levi is the director and founder of Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers in Lincoln Square and Wicker Park, Chicago, with over 40 years of orthopaedic surgery experience, including thousands of joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures.
Dr. Levi leads the experienced medical team at Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers under a patient-first philosophy and offers a state-of-the-art orthopaedic care center complete with physical therapy, radiology, and osteoporosis screening onsite.
Dr. Levi completed a residency and two fellowships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, training under internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeons at the Jewish Hospital. He then moved to Illinois to complete an orthopaedic surgery residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, and fellowship training in hand surgery and occupational orthopaedics.
A lifelong scholar, Dr. Levi shares his knowledge as a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, publishes papers in medical journals and orthopaedic society journals, and maintains up to date with advancements in orthopaedic technology and minimally invasive techniques.
To ensure effective communication with all patients, Dr. Levi is multilingual. He is fluent in Spanish and English and speaks French and Italian. Dr. Levi looks forward to welcoming patients at Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers.
